Betty's Tea Room
On Sunday I went to Betty's Tea Room in York. It was one of the main reasons I went to York and I wasn't disappointed. It was rather busy in the tea room and we had a table down stairs as it was full upstairs. I had some China Rose tea and a Yorkshire tea bread and Tim had Sapphire Blue Ceylon tea with stem ginger loaf cake. The China rose tea was so nice that I bought some tea leaves to take home with me, along with some more home made cakes and a Betty's bag, which I thought would be perfect for carrying around my thesis work in.

Midnight Feast
I was hungry this evening. Writing a thesis makes your hungry - or it could be the fact that we had dinner early today. So at 1 am in the morning, I went downstairs and made some noodles. A few minutes later, my little sister came into the kitchen and said - ooh, I can smell food and Mum, who had also been for a midnight snack (hungry after baby sitting my niece) made noodles for herself and my Dad, suggested that my little sister heat up a burger. The burgers are very nice - they are from Lidl and made from either chicken or pork (they look the same when they have been individually wrapped and frozen - but hey, at least they are not beef cos then I won't eat them). The thing is, now that I am back upstairs and still feeling rather hungry. Hmm maybe I will have one of those burgers in the morning - or maybe I shouldn't since weighing my self at the gym - although I have lost 1.5 kgs since last week - it wouldn't do to put the weight back on again - seeing that the aim is to loose another 5 kgs...
