The Food Monologues

Dragon fruit are shocking pink fruit that looks a little bit like a pear crossed with a globe artichoke. I bought one the other day in Tesco when they were on sale. Normally they are rather expensive fruit, especially if you don't know if tou will like them, but I am willing to try them at the cost of 19p instead of £1.89. So what does it taste like? It a little bit like bland mangosteen (if you know what that tastes like) and has little black seeds that crunch like in a kiwi fruit of figs. Its quite pleasant tasting and I would try it again.
